We are seeking an organized Inventory Manager to support material management across our manufacturing facility, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. You will work with purchasing, production, project management, and installation teams to ensure materials are available when needed while maintaining safe, organized inventory processes.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years in inventory control, warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, manufacturing, or logistics.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
• Basic understanding of inventory management principles and warehouse operations.
• Proficiency with Excel; experience with ERP or WMS is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Process-oriented mindset and focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against POs and packing slips.
• Inspect shipments for defects, damage, and correct specifications and quantities.
• Maintain inventory records and perform routine cycle counts.
• Track inventory levels and communicate shortages to purchasing and operations.
• Coordinate shipping activities, packaging, labeling, and documentation.
• Organize and maintain warehouse, storage, and staging areas for safe flow.
• Issue materials to production and track usage throughout manufacturing.
• Monitor inventory transactions within the inventory system.
• Ensure materials arrive on schedule to support production and installation deadlines.
• Investigate variances and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for inventory control, receiving, storage, and shipping.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency and safety.
• Maintain safety policies and a clean, organized work environment.
• Lead annual physical counts and audits.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture focused on quality.
