Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking a Sign Shop Support to assist in production, assembly, and installation of traffic signs. Responsibilities include operating sign-making equipment, maintaining inventory, preparing work orders, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires following safety rules, collaborating with team members, and supporting timely project completion while maintaining a clean work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in sign production preferred.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must pass a drug test and meet federal DOT requirements.
• Excellent attendance and reliable transportation.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
• Wear safety gear including boots, hard hat, safety glasses, and vest.
• Must be organized and able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, fabricate, and install traffic signs.
• Operate sign making equipment and cut letters to size.
• Count and manage inventory of materials and signs.
• Read and interpret sign orders from sales or verbal instructions.
• Maintain clean work areas and follow safety rules.
• Support sign shop operations to ensure timely project completion.
