Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and another language with proven medical interpreting skills.
• Professional command of medical terminology across anatomy, physiology, diagnostics, treatment and health education.

Responsibilities

• Provide interpretation for patients and care teams while maintaining confidentiality.
• Facilitate communication between patient and health care providers and coordinate referrals and translations as needed.
• Document work activity accurately in departmental logs and the patient's medical record.
