Job summary

Sorenson Communications, LLC is expanding our Video Relay Service operations in St. Augustine, FL, inviting interpreters to provide Sign-to-Voice and Voice-to-Sign interpreting services in center locations across the US and Canada.

Part-time positions are available with opportunities to work a variety of shifts. Applicants should interpret between ASL and spoken English, maintain licensure/certification as required, and comply with FCC, RID, and Sorenson standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Interpreter certification as required by local regulations.
• 3 years of interpreting experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated customer service environment.

Responsibilities

• Interpret between ASL and spoken English.
• Maintain compliance with licensure/certification requirements.
• Comply with Sorenson standards, FCC regulations and RID Code.
• Pass required skills assessment.
• Work flexible schedule including shifts Mon-Sat 7am-7pm MT.
