Job summary

ZP Connect in Idaho hires a professional Sign Language Interpreter to deliver high-quality on-site and video remote interpreting services for the deaf and hard-of-hearing communities. You will support customers with accurate interpretation, adhere to FCC regulations, and uphold our mission and values in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants must hold NAD IV/V or BEI certification, fluent ASL and English, and possess interpreting experience.

Qualifications

• Must have NAD IV/V, BEI Advanced/Master, TX BEI 3/4/5, MI BEI 2/3; RID certification.
• Fluent ASL and spoken English.
• Accurate interpretation required.
• Understanding of Deaf culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective video remote interpreting and on-site interpreting for consumers.
• Support and model the company’s mission and values.
• Provide excellent customer service with a respectful and professional attitude.
