Job summary

ZP Better Together, LLC is seeking part-time interpreters to support video relay services, video remote interpreting, and on-site assignments. Fluent ASL and English are required, with training and certification processes in place.

Must be able to work 12 hours per week, pass the interpreting skills assessment, and complete a 40-hour New Hire Training. Travel capability is required, with flexible scheduling and telehealth/retirement benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and English interpretation skills.
• Ability to provide accurate interpretation.
• Understanding of Deaf culture.
• Adherence to NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• 3–5 years interpreting experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective video relay, video remote interpreting, and on-site interpreting for consumers.
• Support and model the company’s mission and values.
• Deliver excellent customer service with professionalism.
• Maintain punctuality and preparedness for shifts; collaborate with colleagues.
• Follow all policies and FCC regulations; adapt to new technologies.
• Multitask between interpreting and using video-based tools.
• Participate in professional development trainings.

• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Travel independently when required; have access to a vehicle and valid driver's license.
