Job summary

AWP Safety is seeking a Material Installer to safely transport and install a variety of signage and materials across field sites in Texas. You will review specifications, prepare items for mounting, and manage placement while adhering to safety protocols.

The role emphasizes precise installation, site readiness, and timely completion of paperwork, with a strong focus on communication with project teams. Candidates should be willing to work 40+ hours with some evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED completion.
• 2-year degree in industrial-related field is a plus, but not required.
• Must be able to connect with field-level customers and contacts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure signs meet client specifications for spelling, font, size and medium.
• Load and transport signs, tools, and materials safely to location.
• Prepare site for installation and secure electrical connections.
• Ensure accurate measurement, placement, connection and installation.
• Mount and install signs/materials per safety protocols.
• Clear debris after each installation.
• Perform maintenance and repairs to material as needed.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment per safety rules.
• Communicate with Project Management, Directors daily, including photos and logs.
• Complete logs, vehicle inspections, work orders and timecards daily.
• Obtain and maintain required licenses as set by company.
