Job summary

Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) is seeking a Sign Fabricator to perform in-house fabrication and on-site installation of various signage across the Metro system. Qualifications

• Two years of experience in sign fabrication or related field.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with vinyl signage production and installation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and fabricate signage from scratch using approved specs.
• Repair and refurbish defective signs following procedures.
• Install signs across WMATA rail and bus systems.
• Operate vinyl plotters, large format printers, and engraving equipment.
• Document installation activities and requisition parts as needed.
