Qualifikationen

• Requires attainment of a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) within six (6) months of placement in the position.

Aufgaben

• Serve as crew leader on the sign crew and coordinate the placement of traffic control devices to set up maintenance work zones per SCDOT manuals.
• Install and repair traffic signs and pavement markings.
• Instruct crew in safety practices such as flagging operations and proper use of equipment.
• Perform vegetation management with mowers and powered hand tools.
• Assist in emergency and inclement weather operations and may work extended hours or 12-hour shifts.
