Dollar General Corporation seeks a Store Manager responsible for the overall management of store operations, including staffing, sales, stock accuracy, training, and performance management. You will lead daily open/close procedures, ensure customer service excellence, and drive adherence to company policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities include monitoring inventory, executing ordering plans, and maintaining accurate records.

Formación

• Read and interpret diagrams, safety rules, operating instructions and procedures.
• Perform mathematical calculations including percentages.
• Knowledge of cash handling, cashier accountability and deposits.
• Operate IBM cash registers to generate reports.
• Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices.

Responsabilidades

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees; ensure proper staffing and staffing levels.
• Provide training, conduct performance evaluations, and counsel or terminate as needed.
• Recommend employee pay rate and advancement opportunities.
• Communicate performance, safety and policy expectations; lead meetings to reinforce standards.
• Open and close the store as required and maintain security and cash controls.
