Job summary

You will drive sales by maintaining presentation standards, executing ordering plans, and energizing the team to deliver a safe, clean shopping environment while meeting financial targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposit control.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, selects, and retains qualified employees according to federal and state labor laws and company policies; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provides proper training for employees; conducts performance evaluations; identifies gaps for solutions and counseling, up to termination.
• Makes recommendations regarding employee pay rate and advancement.
• Communicates performance, conduct and safety expectations; coordinates meetings to ensure safety and policies.
• Ensures store is staffed and opened/closed each day; opens/closes at least two times per week.
• Evaluates operating statements to identify trends, profitability, shrink, and errors.
• Reviews ordering plan and inventory management; follows up on BSR/cycle counts.
• Facilitates staging, stocking, and storage of merchandise per company processes.
• Ensures merchandise presentation, pricing, and signage follow established practices.
• Maintains inventory levels by controlling damages, markdowns, and paperwork.
• Maintains cashier accountability and cash control procedures.
• Provides superior customer service leadership.
• Maintains a clean, safe store environment and proper tools for tasks.
• Follows SOPs, handbooks, and communications; ensures compliance.
• Completes all paperwork and documentation on time.
