Job summary

Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV is seeking a Registered Nurse, RN for the SICU. This in-person role offers night shifts, a dedicated CCU team, and the chance to deliver high-acuity care in a supportive environment.

As an RN, you will assess patients, implement interventions, document care, and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and staff to develop comprehensive care plans. A valid state RN license and an associate or bachelor’s degree are required; BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required

Qualifications

• Current state RN license.
• Associates or bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred; new grads encouraged and will be supported through our 1 year residency program.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Initiates appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings
• Provides age- and condition-appropriate nursing care
• Completes timely and accurate documentation supporting medical necessity in the medical record
• Develops, implements, and revises interdisciplinary care plans for each patient
