Job summary

Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the CCU on nights. The role provides critical care across the CCU with a mission to deliver high-quality patient care in a team environment.

Applicants should hold an active RN license, an associates or bachelor’s degree in nursing, BLS within 30 days, ACLS and PALS within six months, and prefer one year of CCU experience or participation in our residency program. ASLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license and an associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire; ACLS and PALS within six months.
• One year of experience preferred; new grads encouraged with residency program.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Initiates appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings.
• Provides age- and condition-appropriate nursing care.
• Completes timely and accurate documentation in the medical record.
