Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the CCU to join an in-person night shift. The CCU team comprises skilled nurses, physicians, and allied staff dedicated to high-quality critical care and patient outcomes.

The role emphasizes comprehensive assessments, timely interventions, and detailed documentation to support medical necessity. Applicants must hold a state RN license with either an associates or bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• BLS within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred; new grads encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Initiates appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings.
• Provides age- and condition-appropriate nursing care.
• Completes timely and accurate documentation supporting medical necessity in the medical record.
• Develops, implements, and revises interdisciplinary care plans for each patient.
