Job summary

Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the SICU. This full-time night position is in-person, with responsibilities including patient assessments, interventions, and comprehensive care planning.

Candidates must hold a current RN license and have an associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing. BLS within 30 days; ACLS/PALS within six months of hire. New grads welcome with residency support.

Qualifications

• Must possess current state RN license.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited school.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire; ACLS/PALS within six months.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Initiates appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings.
• Provides age- and condition-appropriate nursing care.
• Completes timely and accurate documentation supporting medical necessity in the medical record.
• Develops, implements, and revises interdisciplinary care plans for each patient.
