Raleigh General Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the SICU, full-time nights, in-person at Beckley, WV. The role emphasizes comprehensive patient assessment, timely nursing interventions, and detailed documentation to support medical necessity.

Candidates should hold an RN license and a nursing degree, with required certifications completed after hire and a 1-year residency program for new grads.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license is required.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited school.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
• One year of RN experience preferred; new grads welcomed and supported by residency program.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate patient assessments and identifies needs.
• Initiates nursing interventions based on assessment findings.
• Provides age- and condition-appropriate nursing care.
• Documents medical necessity and care plans in the medical record.
• Develops, implements, and revises interdisciplinary care plans for each patient.
