Job summary

Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the SICU team on a full-time night shift. This in-person role requires current licensure and critical care skills as part of a dedicated team providing high-quality patient care.

As a dedicated ICU nurse, you will assess patients, implement evidence-based interventions, document thoroughly, and participate in interdisciplinary care planning within a supportive hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license is required.
• Associates or bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited school.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certification within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred; new grads encouraged to apply with the residency program.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Initiates appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings.
• Provides age- and condition-appropriate nursing care.
• Completes timely and accurate documentation supporting medical necessity in the medical record.
• Develops, implements, and revises interdisciplinary care plans for each patient.
