Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required or within hire period.
• 1 year of recent, full-time patient care experience or nursing student with clinical rotation.
• Competencies in clinical knowledge and safety must be demonstrated.
• 8th grade level math and reading comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under RN supervision; take vital signs and weight.
• Assist with personal care, transfers, and transports.
• Support application of external monitoring devices and phlebotomy tasks.
• Assist with room cleanliness and orderliness.
