Job summary

Join Cleveland Clinic Health System's Main Campus in Cleveland as a Clinical Technician in the Cardiovascular & Vascular ICU, supporting postoperative cardiac patients alongside a dedicated team. You will work 11:00am–11:30pm with weekend and holiday rotations, assisting RNs, taking vitals, and providing patient care in a high-acuity unit.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross is required.
• One year of recent, full-time patient care experience OR nursing student with at least one clinical rotation is required.
• Military experience as Hospital Corpsman/Combat Medic/Medical Service Technician will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide or assist with patient care under RN supervision (e.g., vitals, weight, personal care).
• Assist with dressing changes, monitoring devices, and urinary catheter management.
• Report abnormal findings or changes in condition to an RN.
• Assist with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly.
