Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Clinical Technician for the Vascular Surgery ICU at the Main Campus in Cleveland. You will support nursing staff, assist with patient care, monitor vitals, and help manage devices in a fast-paced surgical ICU.

The role requires a high school diploma, BLS, and at least one year of patient care experience, with nursing students and military medical backgrounds considered. Day/night rotation and 7:00am–7:30pm/7:00pm–7:30am shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross required or within new hire period.
• One year of recent, full-time patient care experience required.
• Nursing students may substitute rotation for experience.
• Military medical experience considered in lieu of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide or assist with patient care under supervision of an RN (vital signs, weight, personal care).
• Assist with dressing changes, monitoring devices, and catheter care.
• Report abnormal findings to an RN and maintain clean, orderly rooms.
