Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System in Cleveland Clinic Main Campus is seeking a Clinical Technician for the SICU. You will support acute perioperative care, monitor patients, assist with transfers, and help keep rooms clean and safe.

The role involves day/night rotation from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with every other weekend and holiday requirements. A HS diploma and BLS are required, with prior patient care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification through AHA or ARC required on hire or within probation.
• 1 year of recent full-time patient care experience preferred or nursing student with clinical rotation.
• Demonstrated proficiency in math and reading comprehension.
• Competencies in professional, technical and clinical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care under RN supervision, e.g., vitals, transfers, personal care.
• Report abnormal findings to RN and document observations.
• Maintain patient rooms in clean, orderly condition and ensure safety.
