Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis company, is hiring a Shuttle Driver (Non-CDL) in Cleveland, OH. You will perform vehicle inspections, assist passengers, maintain a neat uniform, and operate shuttle buses at the parking facility.

This role requires a valid state driver’s license, a DOT Medical Card, and the ability to work shifts, including 3rd shift or weekends. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, FSA and 401k; tips are available on top of hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education or one month related experience, training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must hold a valid state driver\'s license.
• DOT Medical Card required.
• Availability to work special shifts, including 3rd shift and weekends, if needed.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, and work with money; basic math.
• Maintain neat appearance in a complete uniform at all times.
• Stand, walk, and handle cash/equipment; may lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness of bus interiors, fuel buses, log trip counts and assist disabled passengers.
• Be on time, present and in uniform for every scheduled day.
• Possess a valid state-issued driver\'s license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
• Maintain an acceptable DMV record.
• Assist customers and direct to the Facility Manager when needed.
• Report accidents or safety hazards to the Facility Manager.
• Communicate debris, spills, and other hazards to the garage office.
• Substitute for cashiers or valets when necessary and authorized.
• Have thorough knowledge of garage areas and local streets for navigation.
• Assist customers with luggage or traveling items as applicable.
• Help Facility Manager with additional duties as needed.
