Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts in Asheville, NC seeks a shuttle driver to transport guests and associates around the resort and greet arrivals with a warm welcome. The shift runs 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with opportunities to assist at the entrance when not actively transporting.

You will ensure vehicle cleanliness, perform safety checks, and keep accurate maintenance and service logs while upholding Omni’s 4-Star/4-Diamond standards of guest service.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid Class C North Carolina Driver's license.
• Flexible schedule; including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Drive shuttle bus to designated destinations promptly and safely.
• Greet guests and provide onboarding assistance.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness inside and out.
• Inspect vehicle daily and report safety concerns.
• Maintain logs of vehicle maintenance and services rendered.
• Adhere to 4-Star/4-Diamond guest-service standards.
• Understand hotel amenities and Moments of Service scenarios.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Job description

$500 Sign On Bonus paid across 90 days. $125 after 30 days, $125 after 60 days, $250 after 90 days.

Overall:

To transport hotel guests & associates to designated destinations around the resort property. When not providing transportation services, this role will be staged at the entrance of the resort where they will greet guests, creating a memorable first impression. Shift 3pm-11pm.

Responsibilities:

• Drive shuttle busto and from designated destinations in a timely manner
• Apply knowledge of commercial driving and skills in maneuvering vehicle at varying speed in difficult situations, such as inclement weather and heavy traffic
• Greet guests and provide on boarding assistance
• Ensure cleanliness of the vehicle; including interior and exterior
• Inspect vehicle daily and report any damage or safety concerns immediately to management
• Maintain accurate log of vehicle maintenance
• Report any safety concern immediately to management
• Maintain accurate log of services rendered
• Create memorable experience during transportation service
• Maintain 4-Star/4-Diamond standards of guest service.
• Accept other special duties as requested by management.
• Assist in keeping front entrance clean and tidy
• Understand all emergency procedures
• Understand all amenities and services offered at the Hotel and local area
• Understand all Moments of Service scenarios

Qualifications:
