Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis Company, is hiring a parking attendant in Houston. You will perform vehicle inspections, assist customers, log trip counts, and support the Facility Manager with daily operations in the garage. You must wear a neat uniform and be on time for every shift.

You’ll need a valid state driver’s license, a current DOT Medical Card, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. The role offers $15.00 per hour with broad benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Education/experience: less than high school or about 1 month related experience.
• License: valid state driver’s license with current address and clean record.
• DOT Medical Card: required.
• Availability to Work: may require 3rd shift and/or weekends.
• Language: read/write simple instructions and communicate with customers.
• Mathematical Skills: basic arithmetic with dollars.
• Appearance: neat, uniform.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections, log trip counts, and assist passengers.
• Maintain cleanliness of bus interiors and fuel as needed.
• Be on time and in uniform for all scheduled shifts.
• Assist customers and direct them to the Facility Manager as needed.
• Know the garage areas and local streets for navigation.
• Assist Facility Manager with other duties as needed.
