Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis Company, in Houston, is seeking a Parking Attendant to ensure smooth garage operations and top‑notch customer service.

You will guide drivers to available spaces, issue warnings when needed, patrol levels, and assist customers who forgot where they parked. A valid driver’s license and ability to drive a manual transmission are required. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k and PTO.

Qualifications

• A valid state driver’s license, current address, and acceptable driving record.
• The ability to safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission (stick shift) is a plus.
• Availability to work special shifts if needed (2nd, 3rd shift and/or weekends).
• Proof of eligibility to work legally in the U.S. (must provide valid documentation if hired).
• The ability to provide accurate information to customers and co-workers and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints.
• The ability to read, write, add, and subtract US currency and comprehend instructions, short emails, and memos.
• The ability to follow written and verbal instructions and calmly adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected events while working.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on Our Promise by ensuring every moment matters for our clients by providing assistance when needed and communicating proactively.
• Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces for a seamless parking experience.
• Count vehicles on location throughout shift, as needed.
• Issue violation warnings to tenants and visitors that violate garage policies; patrol levels as needed.
• Provide assistance to customers that have forgotten where they parked their vehicle.
• Be at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform.
• Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed.
• Assist in the maintenance and repair of parking equipment and any general maintenance tasks as directed by the Facility Manager.
• Report accidents, violations, safety hazards or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
• Communicate debris, spills, and hazards to garage office.
• Substitute for Valets when necessary, if authorized.
• Have thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage and major roads to assist customers.
• Assist Facility Manager with other duties as needed.
