Job summary

Precision Vehicle Holdings is seeking a Shuttle Driver to join our Operations team at Factory Zero, Hamtramck, MI. This on-site, on-call position covers 1st and 2nd shifts, with start times at 6:00am and 2:00pm, and requires a minimum of 5 years driving experience and a strong commitment to safety and policy compliance.

You will safely operate vehicles, perform inspections, maintain inventory records, and support logistics with teamwork.

Qualifications

• Strong driving skills with an exemplary level of safety awareness, quality, and compliance.
• Proficiency in operating handheld scanners and other equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Must hold a current, valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass drug screening and criminal background check.

As a Precision Vehicle Holdings company, Precision Vehicle Solutions was originally created in 2015. Precision Vehicle Solutions is focused on yard management. PVS also offers a full range of vehicle processing services for origin facilities, destination ramps, and ports.

What You’ll Do

Candidate Requirements

Physical Demands of the Job:

• Work in various indoor and outdoor environments.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, standard operating procedures, work instructions, procedure manuals, and policies.
• Quickly respond to safety instructions, alarms, and signals.
• Comfortably wear personal protective equipment.
• Frequently navigate a busy environment.
• Occasionally carry, lift, move, push, and/or pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Maintain stationary positions for extended durations as needed.
• Demonstrate visual acuity and physical dexterity essential for performing the duties associated with the role.

Additional Information:

• This position requires the employee to be onsite.
• Candidates must be flexible and willing to work any assigned shift, as hours and days may vary.
• As an employee, you will be responsible for retaining a valid driver's license, free from any drug or alcohol-related driving convictions or reckless driving and always remain insurable while operating company owned or controlled vehicles.

Compensation Range
$24.24-$24.24 USD
