Job summary

Personnel World in the Greater Lansing area is seeking a reliable Shuttle Driver for the 2nd shift. The role involves moving vehicles within the facility and on public roads, with significant walking between shuttle vans and vehicles throughout an 8–12 hour shift.

Candidates must have a clean driving record, be able to operate a manual transmission, and pass a background check. A PDA will be used to support daily operations, and safety PPE is mandatory.

2nd Shift Vehicle Transport - Shuttle Driver - Greater Lansing Area

Pay: $16.50 per hour

2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM (8 to 12-hour shifts; may work 6-7 days/week)

Position Overview: We are seeking reliable Shuttle Drivers to safely move vehicles throughout the facility and on public roads. This role requires frequent walking and the ability to efficiently enter and exit shuttle vans. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while following all safety protocols.

Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours per day
• Recent Copy of MVR ( this can be obtained via https://www.michigan.gov/sos/all-services/driving-record )
• Must be able to maneuver in and out of shuttle vans
• Ability to operate a standard transmission
• Clean driving record required
• Must be able to pass a background checkAbility to navigate and operate a hand-held PDA

Required PPE / Dress Code

• Steel-toed boots with 8 inch ankle protector (not clip on, composite, or shoes- no exceptions)
• Safety glasses
• Short- or long-sleeve shirt (no tank tops)
• Long pants with no exposed metal
• Proper PPE must be worn at all times

Graduation from a standard high school or vocational school.
