Job summary

The role focuses on minimizing downtime, boosting operational efficiency, and coordinating with the Shredder Operations Supervisor on repairs and maintenance while guiding daily department duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; 3–5 years in a similar role preferred.
• Ability to develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with customers and other employees required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance of the shredder and equipment to meet production schedules and ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Direct daily maintenance tasks and provide guidance to department employees on multiple shifts to minimize downtime.
• Maintain adequate wear parts inventory, issue and reorder parts as necessary, and report deficiencies or malfunctions to the supervisor.
