Job summary

Radius Recycling is seeking a Shredder Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance of the shredder and coordinate with the Shredder Operations Supervisor. You will monitor day-to-day duties of operators, pickers, and cleaners while ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.

Responsibilities include directing maintenance to meet production schedules, ordering spare parts, reducing downtime, and guiding staff across shifts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of machines and tools, their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and techniques for maximizing operational efficiency.
• Experience or education related to maintaining industrial shredders and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversees maintenance of the shredder and equipment to meet production schedules and safety standards.
• Directs day-to-day maintenance activities of equipment operators, pickers, and cleaners.
• Recommends replacements and requests spare parts; tracks parts used for repair to minimize downtime.
