Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, or 3–5 years in a similar role.

• Experience in metals recycling environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance of the shredder and equipment to meet production schedules and ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Direct the department to maximize production efficiency with minimal overtime.
• Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
• Provide guidance to department employees on multiple shifts.
• Coordinate parts procurement and wear parts inventory; report deficiencies to supervision.
