Job summary

Radius Recycling, Inc. is seeking a Shredder Maintenance Supervisor responsible for overseeing maintenance of the shredder and related equipment.

The role reports to the Shredder Operations Manager and ensures compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across the department. Key duties include directing daily maintenance, tracking spare parts, and minimizing downtime to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED Certification, or 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role preferred.
• Ability to develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with customers and other employees required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees maintenance of shredder and equipment to meet production schedules and ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Directs day-to-day maintenance to minimize downtime and equipment breakdowns.
• Recommends replacement of equipment and orders spare parts as needed.
• Ensures adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards within the department.
• Provides guidance to department employees on multiple shifts and supports yard operations as needed.
