Job summary

Vital Records Control is seeking a Shred Specialist in Houston to support shredding operations and warehouse duties. You will unload, stage, and load shredded paper from trucks and operate shredding and baling equipment, while maintaining a safe, efficient work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in manufacturing or warehouse preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred and forklift driving knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload and stage shredded paper, media, and product from trucks.
• Operate and maintain shredding and baling machinery at the branch.
• Ensure paper bales are staged or loaded for shipment as required.
• Support off-site shredding program operations.
• Operate forklifts and perform basic forklift maintenance as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace per VRC and NAID standards.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Adhere to security and safety protocols in operations.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
