Job summary

Indochino’s Oak Brook showroom seeks an alterations specialist to perform tailor-made alterations, advise customers on fit and lead times, and maintain accurate records of work done. You will coordinate with external vendors and support high-traffic fittings while delivering exceptional service.

The role requires strong tailoring skills, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment, and a keen eye for fit, fabrics, and construction.

Qualifications

• Ability to complete all alterations in store.
• Bridge communication between showroom staff and tailors.
• Multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform alterations according to Indochino’s guidelines and service standards.
• Provide product advice and calculate lead times to manage customer expectations.
• Maintain records of alterations and productivity in the system.
• Coordinate alterations with external vendors as needed.
• Cultivate customer relationships to build loyalty and brand ambassadors.
• Handle rush orders and escalated situations with care.
