Job summary

Indochino seeks an Alterations Specialist in its Atlanta showroom to perform alterations to Indochino’s standards, advise customers on products, and accurately calculate lead times to meet expectations.

You will bring a high level of tailoring skills and knowledge of fabrics, fit, and men’s suiting, collaborate with tailors and showroom staff, and help cultivate loyal customers through proactive service.

Qualifications

• High level of applied tailoring skills.
• Ability to complete all alterations in store.
• Bridge communication between Showroom staff and tailors.
• Multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong desire to develop and grow through hands-on experience.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel or Google Docs.
• Strong design sense and trend awareness in fashion.
• Previous experience in Fashion Retail is an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal and time-management skills.
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds and move around the store.

Responsibilities

• Alter garments per Indochino guidelines and standards.
• Provide product advice and calculate lead times for customers.
• Maintain knowledge of garment fitting, fabrics, and menswear.
• Ensure quality control and garment inspection.
• Meet productivity targets (300+ units per month).
• Coordinate alterations with vendor and resolve issues.
• Cultivate customer relationships and brand ambassadors.
• Assist with fittings during high-traffic periods.
• Educate staff on proper fitting techniques.
• Handle rush orders and escalated situations.
