SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking an Assistant Showroom Manager for our Colonial Materials showroom in Jacksonville, NC. This customer‑service focused role drives walk‑in and phone orders, merchandising, and a clean, organized showroom while building strong customer relationships.

The position emphasizes learning the distribution system, product knowledge, and opportunities to grow showroom sales through upselling and margin improvements. Bilingual applicants are preferred.

Competenze

• Minimum of three years of successful sales experience.
• Purchasing and inventory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Effective team player and leader with strong communication skills.
• Experience in construction/building materials preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Mansioni

• Oversee taking orders at the sales counter and over the phone.
• Build relationships with customers.
• Learn the company distribution system to enter orders.
• Develop product knowledge to assess needs and recommend solutions.
• Seek out new products or strategies to grow showroom sales.
• Assist in maintaining, organizing, and replenishing merchandise.
• Establish standards for displaying materials and store appearance.
• Assist with inventory and quoting jobs to customers.
• Manage customer pick-up process and experience.
