Job summary

Colonial Materials, Inc. - Charlotte is seeking a Showroom Sales associate to support walk-in and phone customers. You will handle counter sales, enter orders, assist merchandising, and maintain a clean showroom. This role focuses on customer service and achieving sales targets.

The position requires strong communication, purchasing and inventory experience, and the ability to work with a team. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred; minimum of 3 years sales experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Purchasing and inventory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the process of taking orders at the sales counter and over the phone.
• Build relationships with customers and develop product knowledge.
• Enter orders into the computer system and process quotes.
• Assist in merchandising and maintaining store layout and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with showroom staff and sales managers on strategic approaches.
• Quote prices, discuss terms, and prepare sales order forms/reports.
• Manage customer pick-up process and upsell related products.
