Job summary

MGM Resorts in Las Vegas is seeking a Showroom Manager to oversee daily showroom operations and guest experiences across live entertainment and events.

You will lead front-of-house activities, seating and VIP accommodations, while collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless event execution and exceptional guest service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in ticketing, box office or showroom operations.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Strong guest service orientation and guest flow management.

• Oversee daily showroom and front-of-house operations, including event prep, guest admissions, seating, VIP accommodations, and venue presentation.
• Lead and develop showroom team through scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management.

• Ensure guest service standards, resolve escalated issues, and maintain a welcoming entertainment experience.
• Monitor safety, accessibility, crowd management, and emergency procedures.

THE JOB:

As a Showroom Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing daily showroom operations and ensuring exceptional guest experiences across live entertainment and special events. Through your leadership and operational expertise, you will oversee front-of-house activities, including guest seating, VIP accommodations, and event readiness, while collaborating with internal departments to ensure seamless event execution.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Manage daily showroom and front-of-house operations, including event preparation, guest admissions, seating arrangements, VIP accommodations, and overall venue presentation
• Lead and develop showroom team members through scheduling, training, coaching, performance management, and daily operational support
• Collaborate with Entertainment, Production, Security, and other departments to coordinate event logistics, guest flow, staffing needs, and operational readiness
• Oversee guest service standards, resolve escalated guest concerns, and ensure a welcoming and memorable entertainment experience
• Monitor showroom safety, accessibility, crowd management, and emergency procedures to maintain a safe and organized environment
• Evaluate daily operations, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement processes that enhance team efficiency and the overall guest experience

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
• 2+ years of prior relevant experience in ticketing, box office or showroom operations required
