Job summary

Dal-Tile Corp. in Oregon seeks a Showroom Design Consultant to lead design guidance and product selection for customers and design teams, leveraging flooring industry knowledge to influence sales.

You will manage day-to-day showroom activities, maintain samples and displays, host tours and events, coordinate meetings and catering, and support marketing with social media while upholding brand standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
• 2-4 years’ relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
• Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide interior design advice and product expertise; facilitate selection for customers.
• Maintain showroom client records and preferences.
• Maintain showroom samples, merchandising, and displays.
• Plan and host showroom tours and events for industry trade to drive sales.
• Coordinate meetings, events, and catering in the showroom.
• Assist with social media for the showroom as part of the brand strategy.
• May attend outside trade events to develop industry relationships.
