Job summary

Builders FirstSource in Grand Rapids is seeking a Showroom Coordinator to maintain the flooring showroom, manage samples, and provide sales support to Standale Home Studio. This role suits a self-starter who aims to enhance the selling and shopping experience and grow into a future sales/design position as knowledge increases.

You will work closely with vendors and showroom staff, handle documents, assist with pricing in FloorZap, and support reception when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1 year administrative or related experience.
• Strong customer service and written/verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Support Standale Home Studio showroom through sample management and sales support tasks.
• Manage price lists from vendors, updating pricing in FloorZap (Selling software).
• Act as back up to reception desk and other office personnel when needed.
• Support Costco sales by guiding customers to specific product when Costco rep not available.
• Prepare routine correspondence, office forms and related documents.
• Perform data entry/retrieval and handle mail/interoffice communications.
