LaFontaine Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Sales Assistant to support Sales Consultants in the showroom and assist customers directly. You will help describe vehicles, gather customer information, and coordinate test drives and deliveries.

Essential duties include updating records, assisting with rebates and finance data, and ensuring a smooth customer experience. This role emphasizes reliability, organization, and strong communication within a busy dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Greet customers and determine their needs.
• Describe merchandise and explain operation and care.
• Update customer records in dealership systems.
• Coordinate test drives and vehicle appraisals.
• Work with finance and service departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and ascertain what each customer wants or needs.
• Describe merchandise and explain use, operation, and care of merchandise to customers.
• Update customer records in dealerships applications as required.
• Contact customers to answer basic procedural questions.
• Coordinate test drives and trade vehicle appraisals.
• Pull vehicle invoices.
• Run rebate summaries on vehicles.
• Work with the finance department to obtain the necessary customer information for credit approvals.
• Work with the service department to ensure accessory installations.
• Schedule appointments & deliveries.
• Reconcile monthly volume of sales.
• Other duties as assigned.
