LaFontaine Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Senior Sales Assistant to support Lane Managers with DMS and CRM tooling. The role focuses on data entry, order tracking, and vetting quotes while training under seasoned managers to advance toward Desk Manager.

The position emphasizes strong organization, process discipline, and customer service excellence in a fast-paced dealership environment with opportunities for growth within the LaFontaine family.

Qualifications

• Sales/BDC/Customer Service skills preferred.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Process-driven mindset and goal-oriented in fast-track path to desk management.
• Knowledge of VinSolutions and Reynolds is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Enter data in VinSolutions (CRM).
• Track sold orders and follow up.
• Qualify/vet requests for quotes.
• Quote directly to group members after training.
• Coordinate and schedule off-site deliveries.
• Locate/confirm available inventory at all locations.

THE POSITION:

The Automotive Senior Sales Assistant is our day-to-day assistance to our Lane Managers and will require usage of our DMS, Manufacturer accesses, CRM tools and vetting/qualifying support for the entire LaFontaine Automotive Group. This position is a fast way to learn under some of the most seasoned Managers in our group and process/attention to detail will be of the upmost importance.

Education and Experience:

• Knowledge of VinSolutions not a requirement but favored.
• Knowledge of Reynolds/Reynolds not a requirement but favored.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• VinSolutions (CRM) data entry.
• Sold order tracking/logging and follow up.
• Qualifying/Vetting request for quotes.
• Quoting directly to our members of the group will be required after proper training is completed.
• Coordinating and scheduling off-site deliveries.
• Locating/Confirming available inventory at each of our locations.

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions.
• Occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Regularly required to stand, talk, and hear.

• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and peripheral vision.
