Job summary

Babylist is seeking an Assistant Showroom Manager for our flagship Beverly Hills showroom—a hands-on role where people management, guest experience, and daily operations converge. As second-in-command, you’ll support scheduling, coverage, and guest flow, guiding families and empowering the team to deliver thoughtful service.

You’ll recruit, onboard, coach, and develop staff; maintain brand standards in merchandising and inventory; and step in as acting Showroom Manager when needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on retail management experience.
• Experience leading a team and giving direct feedback.
• Ability to run a busy floor and manage guest flow.
• Strong guest service and personalized recommendations.
• Organization of space, inventory, and cleanliness.
• Willing to work weekends, evenings, and flexible shifts.
• Able to stand for 8-10 hours and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Open to using AI tools in daily work.

Responsibilities

• Run daily showroom operations with the Showroom Manager.
• Greet guests and make product recommendations on the floor.
• Recruit, onboard, and train new staff; provide ongoing coaching.
• Maintain merchandising, inventory, and cleanliness to brand standards.
• Step in as acting Showroom Manager when needed.
• Plan and run VIP appointments, events, and activations.
