Job summary

Babylist is seeking a motivated Showroom Host for our New York City showroom in SoHo. You will help create a memorable experience for expecting families, assist with product selection and registries, and collaborate with the NY Showroom team.

This on-site role requires a minimum of 2 years in retail or guest services, weekend availability, and physical ability to lift 25–30 lbs and stand 8–10 hours. Training runs Aug 31–Sept 24 with no time off during this window.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail or guest service role.
• Strong customer-facing skills and a friendly, upbeat attitude.
• Excellent communication with teammates and guests.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility for varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Be a Babylist ambassador by delivering exceptional service in the showroom.
• Assist guests with navigating the showroom and creating registries.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay informed on products and safety guidelines.
• Support showroom operations, including events, inventory receiving, and maintenance.
