The Shade Store in Seattle, WA is seeking a Showroom Administrative Assistant to support Design Consultants by managing appointments, maintaining showroom standards, and ensuring excellent customer follow-up. This role is ideal for organized, proactive individuals with a passion for project management and design.

You will coordinate consultations, respond to inquiries, assist with quotes, and support showroom merchandising and events. This is a full-time, permanent role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in retail, sales, project management or customer service with a focus on a high-end experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and CRM systems (Salesforce, NetSuite, etc.) is preferred.
• Associate’s Degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Support Design Consultants with customers by gathering project details and relaying information.
• Respond to customer inquiries via various channels with timely responses.
• Engage with customers to provide product collateral and materials.
• Confirm appointment details and keep customers informed on next steps.
• Coordinate consultations (in-person and virtual) and support In Home Visits as needed.
• Monitor order status to ensure on-site installation readiness.
