Job summary

Universal Orlando Resort is seeking a skilled maintenance technician responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of animation, special effects, ride, and show control electrical systems. Install, test and repair industrial electrical equipment to ensure safe, reliable operations across venues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical school or equivalent preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in electro-mechanical or ride/show related maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance per OEM/UO specs.
• Inspect, test and troubleshoot electrical systems, wiring and components.
• Log work orders and report findings; document repairs.
• Troubleshoot to root cause using test equipment and schematics.
• Train new technicians on venue-specific PMs and procedures.
