Responsibilities

• Provide an effective deterrent to dishonest behaviors throughout the store by role‑modeling control and following dress code.
• Maintain a safe and secure store with attention to detail and strong communication.
• Engage with customers and associates in high‑risk shortage areas with a positive, respectful approach.
• Demonstrate knowledge of top shortage areas and support programs to reduce theft.
• Gather and document indicators of external theft and coordinate with leaders and law enforcement as needed.
• Support the store manager with internal controls, audits, and asset protection.
• Provide onboarding and ongoing training on shortage reduction to associates.
• Assist with semi‑annual inventory and action plans to reduce shortage.
• Model safety as a top priority and address unsafe practices promptly.
• Manage stressful situations with discipline.
