Job summary

ProCare Therapy seeks a School Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a short-term, full-time contract along the Southeast Texas coast. The assignment runs from August 10 through September 25, with direct SLPA support as district SLPs complete observation hours for licensure.

You will deliver direct speech-language services under supervision, track student data, collaborate with teachers and school staff, and ensure timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Active SLPA license required
• School-based SLPA experience preferred but open to new graduates
• Understanding of child development and experience with K-12 students

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct speech-language services under SLP supervision to a diverse student caseload
• Track and collect student data to monitor progress
• Collaborate with teachers and school personnel to support learning goals
• Ensure all documentation is compliant and timely
• Participate in team meetings and professional development as required
