Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant for a Katy, TX area contract position serving school-based and healthcare settings. The role is itinerant, across multiple sites, with both part-time and full-time scheduling options and an immediate start through the school year-end.

Responsibilities include delivering direct SLPA services under SLP supervision, conducting screenings, data collection, and documentation in line with district procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas SLPA license required.
• Experience in school-based or healthcare therapy environments preferred.
• Familiar with IEP processes and digital documentation systems.
• Ability to adapt therapy for diverse student needs in 1:1 and group settings.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Willingness to work in a multidisciplinary team under district supervision.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP, following IEPs.
• Conduct screenings, collect data, and maintain documentation per district procedures.
• Travel between assigned schools to provide support; travel time compensated.
• Collaborate with educators and parents to support student progress and attend team meetings.
• Receive on-the-job training, including IEP system orientation and district support.
• Uphold confidentiality, conduct, and student safety per school/district policies.
