Job summary

Soliant Health in Texas is seeking a contract Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students' communication and language growth in a school setting near Universal City. You'll collaborate with a licensed SLP, teachers, and families to ensure every student receives the support they need.

Qualifications

• Texas SLPA license (or eligibility to obtain) is required.
• Experience in schools or pediatric populations preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver speech and language interventions under the guidance and supervision of a licensed SLP
• Assist in the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students requiring speech services
• Prepare and organize therapy materials and activities tailored to students' needs
• Collect data and maintain accurate records to track student progress
• Participate in team meetings and contribute insights regarding student performance
• Foster a positive and encouraging environment for students with a range of speech or language challenges
