Infinity Building Services, Inc. is a commercial general contractor seeking to expand its current operation with a professional short haul truck driver for restaurant, retail, hospitality, medical, education, and office projects in the DC Metro Area (MD/DC/VA).

We are currently seeking a short haul truck driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-4 years of experience with truck driving. He or she will be responsible for assisting on-site supervisors with deliveries, trash runs, forklift, manlift, and other assistance as necessary. The candidate must be able to take direction well and be able to work both independently and as a team player.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Drive trucks to and from jobsites making deliveries and pickups as needed. Ability to drive a variety of vehicles from Ford F150 to Ford F550, trash rig, flatbed, forklift, man lift, etc.
• Pull trailers as needed.
• Help to load and unload lumber and other materials.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Keep a clean driving record.
• Assist with on-site installations as needed.
• Lift heavy objects and use power tools as needed.
• Complete documentation as required.
• Perform general maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Help hands on at the office as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a truck driver.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• DOT Medical Card.
• Physically fit and good hand-eye coordination for maintaining reaction time while driving.
• Visual and hearing acuity.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• OSHA30 Certification and CPR/First Aid Certification (Preferred)
